Hygiene and sterilisation

   A separate sterile set for every patient

   Hand instruments that enter the mouth are packaged for each patient; package integrity and indicator colour are checked before use.

   Recorded autoclave cycles

   Sterilisation is carried out in a steam autoclave; cycles are monitored with chemical indicators and regular biological testing, and are recorded.

   Single-use materials

   Needle tips, gloves, masks, gowns, suction tips, cups and similar items are single-use.

   Surface and unit disinfection

   After every patient the dental unit, work surfaces and handles are disinfected; water lines are cleaned regularly.

   Medical waste management

   Sharps and medical waste are collected separately and handed over for disposal in accordance with the regulations.

Main equipment available at the clinic

• Digital panoramic X-ray — planning and follow-up images are taken at the clinic
• Three-dimensional imaging (CBCT tomography) by referral in cases where it is needed
• Digital impressions and collaboration with the dental laboratory (zirconia, veneers, implant-supported prostheses)
• Surgical and implant motor; separate preparation and sterilisation area
• Accessibility: ground-floor entrance, no steps, accessible toilet

When you come for an examination

• Bring your most recent X-rays and any documents from previous treatment, if you have them.
• Have a list of the medicines you take regularly with you (including blood thinners, diabetes and osteoporosis medication).
• Tell us about any systemic conditions, allergies and pregnancy before the examination.
• Arriving a few minutes before your appointment time is enough for registration.
