Privacy Notice (KVKK)

This privacy notice has been prepared under Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK") by Özel Denttek Ağız ve Diş Sağlığı Polikliniği (Cumhuriyet Mah., Nazım Hikmet Blv., Altıntaş Okutan Park, No: 89/A, Esenyurt / İstanbul), as data controller. This website is the information site of the team of Mehmet Taş, DDS, MSc, and Aycan Işık Taş, DDS, who practise within the polyclinic.

1. Personal data processed

The data processed are the full name, telephone number, e-mail address, country, subject of enquiry and optional note that you send through the contact form, e-mail or WhatsApp, together with the date on which the form was submitted and your IP address. The X-rays and intra-oral photographs you send for a remote preliminary assessment are health data and are examined only by the dentists, for the purpose of the preliminary assessment.

2. Purpose of processing and legal basis

The data are processed to assess your request for information and appointment and to contact you, under KVKK Art. 5/2-c ("processing is directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract") and Art. 5/2-f ("the legitimate interests of the data controller"). Your health data are processed under KVKK Art. 6 and health legislation, with your explicit consent or in the cases provided for by law.

3. Transfer

Form data are stored on the server where the site is hosted (Natro, Turkey) and forwarded to the clinic's e-mail. If you request travel arrangements, only your full name, contact details and travel dates are transferred to the travel partner, Lightstone Group Travel Agency, with your explicit consent; your health data are not transferred. Data are not shared with third parties except where legally required, and are not used for advertising or marketing.

4. Retention period

Records of information requests are deleted within 1 year at the latest after the request has been concluded. Patient file records are subject to the periods set out in health legislation.

5. Your rights

Under KVKK Art. 11, you have the right to learn whether your personal data are being processed; to request information if they have been processed; to learn the purpose of processing and whether data are used in line with that purpose; to request correction if they are incomplete or inaccurate; to request their deletion or destruction; to learn the third parties to whom they have been transferred; and to claim compensation if you suffer damage. You can send your applications in writing to [email protected] or to the clinic's address; applications are answered within 30 days at the latest.

6. Cookies

This site keeps a local record in your browser only to remember that you have closed the information banner at the top; it does not use tracking cookies. The embedded Google Maps component is subject to Google's own cookie and privacy policy; you can also find the address on the page without viewing the map.
