LS DentTek
How it works for patients coming from abroad
Özel Denttek is an authorised international health tourism facility. Treatment and travel are handled separately; for treatment, the patient deals directly with the health facility.
Examination, planning and treatment services are provided at Özel Denttek by the team of Mehmet Taş, DDS, MSc, and Aycan Işık Taş, DDS, following an information stage and an examination. The contract and invoice are issued in the name of the clinic; the patient deals directly with the health facility.
Travel and logistics services such as transfer, accommodation, interpreter and flight arrangements are provided by our travel partner, Lightstone Group Travel Agency (TÜRSAB 15898). These services are not provided by the clinic; travel arrangements are discussed directly with Lightstone.
Step by step
- 1Contact
Write to us by WhatsApp, e-mail or the form. Tell us your complaint and send any existing X-rays and photographs. We reply in Turkish and English.
- 2Remote preliminary assessment
Our dentists make a preliminary assessment from a panoramic X-ray (a CBCT scan if possible) and intra-oral photographs. This assessment does not replace an examination; the definitive plan is confirmed by the examination at the clinic.
- 3Planning and schedule
The possible treatment options, the number of sessions required and the length of stay needed in Istanbul are shared in writing. Implant treatment often requires two separate visits (surgery and prosthesis).
- 4Travel arrangements
If you wish, flights, accommodation and transfers are arranged by Lightstone Group Travel Agency. The treatment schedule and the travel plan are put together jointly.
- 5Examination and treatment
Examination at the clinic, a CBCT scan if needed, and the definitive plan; then the treatment sessions. The surgical and prosthodontic stages are coordinated by two dentists.
- 6Check-up and follow-up
After you return to your country, contact continues for check-ups and your questions; a treatment summary is provided to share with your local dentist.

What you should know
- An individual plan can only be made after an examination and imaging; remote assessment is preliminary information only.
- Some treatments (for example a prosthesis after an implant) require a healing period; they may not be completed in a single visit.
- The contract, invoice and medical records are issued in the name of Özel Denttek. Travel services are provided by Lightstone under a separate contract.
- Your personal and health data are processed under Turkish Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and health legislation.
What will help when you send your enquiry
- A panoramic X-ray and, if you have one, CBCT images (as files; sending the original file rather than a photograph of the image preserves image quality).
- Intra-oral and smile photographs — a few shots taken in daylight, from the front and from the side, are enough.
- Any reports or prescriptions from previous treatment (such as root canal treatment, implants or orthodontics).
- The medicines you take regularly and any known systemic conditions (diabetes, use of blood thinners, heart conditions and so on).
- Your planned dates in Istanbul and how flexible they are — so that the treatment schedule can be arranged accordingly.
Practical information at the clinic
- Communication is possible in Turkish and English; if another language is needed, Lightstone Group can provide interpreter support.
- Contactless (NFC) card payment is available at the payment desk.
- The clinic is on the ground floor; you enter without using stairs.
- A treatment summary and any prescriptions are given to you in writing, so that you can share them with your local dentist when you return to your country.
